Creative Discovery
in  the Pacific NW is exhilarating, but the weather is not always conducive to painting outdoors. A recent class project was to create your own interpretation from a  photo reference.

Enjoy the individuality of expression in the adjoining originals of empty garden pots in the snow painted by students from my photo shown above.

The Exhibit is a result of original work created by Pacific Northwest artists with a variety of experience. Each artist has reached his/her present skill as a result of a lifetime journey of exploration and observation through their own unique "artist's eye".  One thing they have in common is that they have all studied with Michele Cooper, NWWS.

We hope that you enjoy the work based on the theme "Creative Discovery".

" Enjoyed your sharing the Last of the Fall Color on-line exhibit with friends across the state. It is always interesting seeing different interpretations of a theme…and in this case, for those of us who know some of the artists, this is the next best thing to seeing the pieces in person. Thanks."   SP,  Pullman,  WA

"Very professional"  "This is very special"  "The exhibit looks so good!" (numerous emails)

"I so enjoyed the art show on line and am tickled that I am still in your address book!  I would love to take some classes this winter from you and will see what fits in my schedule." BB, Eastsound, WA

"Nice display....!  It is hard to remember those beautiful colors as I look out on forever blue and green!  So hard to take!  I guess I should turn on the air conditioner and paint!  Looking forward to the next display." LM, Florida
