Saturday, September 25th, 2010,
6 P.M. to 8 P.M
A reception
for artists and the public will be held on
Saturday, September 25th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
The auction will continue through the reception
and will close at the end of the evening. All funds raised
will benefit the Bellevue Schools Foundation, which
supports the efforts of 150 artist from 6 high
schools in the Bellevue school district.

The 4th annual
“BRUSHES with the Land” show runs June 18 through
July 18 and features a wide range of
Northwest Landscapes by 42 artists from
Washington and Oregon. Michele has been selected
as one of the participating artists.
An Evening
of Art & Jazz for Youthnet
May 7th, 2010
(Friday)
Michele will exhibit 3
paintings at the annual Youthnet Art & Jazz
event.. The event starts at 5:00 p.m. at
theYouthnet building and is a fun way to end a
work week with gourmet appetizers, beverage of
choice and wonderful jazz and art --- all for
only $10.
Tickets are available in advance at the Youthnet
office or at the door.

a Day at Bellevue Art & Frame

in Action, Michele Cooper
Every day
in August, between noon.and 4 P.M., a
different artist will create a painting,
drawing, collage, or print in the medium of
his or her choice.
Artists will
work in the art department. The public is
invited to drop in each day to watch as
artists create their paintings and drawings.
As each piece
is finished, the canvases will be returned to
their place in the gallery. Bid sheets will
accompany each art piece. The public may bid
on works by silent auction from August 1
through September 25th.
All funds will benefit the Bellevue Schools
Foundation.

Update July 19----Michele's
plein air painting, "The Channel at Livingston Bay",
was given an award and sold at live auction
during the garden party.
Between
June 13 and July 17, artists from across
Washington will be painting on lands
protected forever by community action and
the Whidbey Camano Land Trust. Their works
will be entered into a juried competition
and will be available for viewing and
purchase at a garden party on Sunday, July
19.

The San Juan
Preservation Trust and
Plein Air Washington present
"Art in the Islands" exhibit at
Insights Gallery.
July 13-28, 2007
For two
weeks in July, the San Juan
Preservation Trust lands is
sponsoring Plein Air Washington, Washington's
largest outdoor painting group, to paint,
document and celebrate the islands on canvas
and paper. The
end result will be a multiple-faceted
portrait of the islands, from curly-barked
madronas to its historic buildings and
harbor views.
Then on July 28th, the
accumulation of this artwork will be
juried, displayed, and sold at Insights
Gallery in Anacortes with
proceeds benefiting the Preservation
Trust.

The
show will continue through July 28-August 11,
which coincides with the Anacortes Arts Festival
weekend.
